C5945 is a pulse generator designed to output all control signals required for the operation of a driver/amplifier circuit (C5863) for CMOS linear
image sensors. C5945 also provides an optimum supply voltage for the driver/amplifier circuit. C5945 is comprised of a pulse and a timing
generator section that outputs master start pulse and master clock pulse and a timing generator section that provides control signals for the
drive/amplifier circuit for image sensors. Since the master start and clock pulse can be output to an external device, C5945 can be used to
operate a driver/amplifier circuit other than those used for CMOS image sensors. Operation of C5945 is simple because it operates from a single
+5 V supply.
Furthermore, the master pulse interval and master clock pulse frequency can be easily set with the switches located on the board.
