CCD controller
HAMAMATSU introduce the CCD controller designed for acquiring the X-ray image in a personal computer compatible to an IBM machine. It can
be easily operated if a receptacle of C6460 front panel and CCD area image sensor S7362-01 are plugged with a connector. SCSI-2 is used for
an interface to the personal computer, and the command for acquiring the data is practiced by SCSI. The CCD controller will provide an off-the-
shelf solution and a real time processing.
The conditions of data acquisition and so on are set up by SCSI control command, and a library is offered by DLL compatible to 32 bits.
Therefore, a program for exclusive use that is operated by Windows can be formulated by a general-purpose programming language of Visual C,
Visual Basic, C++ Builder or something.

Attached demonstration software makes easy to test whole CCD imaging

programming. This software is available on Windows, and anyone can

To set up and use the image system, the followings will be needed except the C6460.
System requirement: IBM compatible PC running Windows 95/98/ME with SCSI host adapter
Recommended SCSI host adapter: Adaptec compatible
AHA-2940 AU for PCI, APA-1460D for PCMCIA, etc.
Suitable CCD: S7362-01
SCSI cable: One end is high density 50-pin male connector for C6460 front panel receptacle.
