IMAGE INTENSIFIER UNITS
C9016 SERIES
PRELIMINARY
OVER VIEW
The C9016 series is a family of gated image intensifier
units consisting of a proximity-focused image intensifi-
er head and an easy-to-use remote controller.
The image intensifier built into the head is available
with a GaAsP photocathode or multialkali photoca-
thode. The GaAsP photocathode delivers an extreme-
ly high sensitivity in the visible region and also
acquires images with an incredibly high S/N ratio
thanks to our new photocathode fabrication technique.
The multialkali photocathode offers a wide spectral
range from the UV to near infrared region.
The image intensifier can be operated and controlled
from the remote controller or a PC (personal comput-
er) via the USB (Ver. 1.1 compatible with Windows
2000) interface connector provided on the rear panel
of the image intensifier head. The excessive light pro-
tective function allows you to use the C9016 without
worrying about an increase in the incident light level.
The output image can be easily read out by a CCD
camera with a fiber optic plate window or by various
types of cameras using a relay lens.

NOTE: * When using the USB interface, the following conditions must be met.
D (ms) + W (ms) + 5 (ms) < T (ms) / 2
where D is the delay time, W is the gate time and the T is the trigger input interval.
