2. GENERAL
DESCRIPTION
The MTM808 micro-controller is a single-cycle 8051 CPU core embedded device with a powerful flash
card/memory controller and MP3 decoder. Data swap between different interfaces can be done very
efficiency without any CPU involvement. There is a complete set of PC/human interfaces available in
MTM808: full-speed USB 1.1, IDE, I2C, SPI, UART/RS-232, status LCD controller/driver, CF/SM card, on-
board NAND-type flash memory and MP3 decoder I2S audio output interfaces. Based on above plentiful
interfaces and integrated in-house intellectual properties, MTM808 is really suitable for any data storage
related products, i.e. USB 1.1 Flash Disk, portable MP3 player, portable HDD, card reader/writer, etc.
MTM808 includes a single-cycle 8051 CPU core, 64K-byte internal masked program ROM, 8K-byte data
SRAM, USB 1.1 SIE and PHY functional block, two A/D converters, MP3 decoder and relevant interfaces in
100-pin LQF internal ROM version package and 128-pin LQFP external ROM version package.
