NCP300 to NCP305 Voltage Detector Series
Ultra Low Quiescent Current and Tiny Packages
Known collectively as the NCP30X Voltage Detector Series, these super-
visor y circuits operate on a ver y small amount of power and feature an
extremely low quiescent current that rank among the lowest in the indus-
tr y. This low supply current minimizes batter y drain during standby mode,
translating into longer batter y operational capability. Developed using ON
Semiconductor's proprietar y Analog CMOS technology, the six devices
that make up the NCP30X series are equipped with seven standard voltage
thresholds, with additional thresholds that range from 0.9 V to 4.9 V in
100 mV steps possible. They provide a second source for competitive
devices on the market and are enhanced replacements for the MC33460,
MC33461, MC33464 and MC33465, existing products already in ON
Semiconductor's analog por tfolio. The NCP300 to NCP303 are housed in
compact 5-pin TSOP packages, which is a thinner version of the popular
SOT-23 package and the NCP304 and NCP305 are of fered in the tiny
SC-82AB package.
